Nigerian leaders are the most crude in strategies of leadership; sometimes it is amazing how the mind of a power drunken Nigerian work, although they mask their intentions with pretentious civility and make public statements which runs contrary to their true intentions.
I have been thinking lately how we have become the subject of mockery to other African community and reference point for all kinds of stupid leadership styles and portfolio, the world has left us behind
Even other African countries renown for crawling styles and archaic contradictions, have suddenly blown to an enviable height that we cannot pretend not to recognize the impact of their development around us.
They were busy moving to greater heights, while we are starved by profligate band of men overtaken by fraud and moral turpitude, we have in our system, myopic politician, irresponsible adolescent irreligious cleric and corrupt leaders
The recent Bombing of the UN building in Abuja has again brought us to disrepute in the eyes of the international communities, the cruel acts that could have been avoided, if the government were responsible in Educating her citizen, providing jobs for the unemployed and ensuring that Youths are not left uncared for. No they ignored all these and were busy amassing wealth and jostling over political power
The Past and present leadership style of Nigeria is a complete error that needed urgent attention, agreed that the past leaders failed so badly that the recent war of words by IBB and OBJ shows how heartless tyrannical impostors can regret that they never did well. Their recent ratings were a shame on whatever they claim to achieve which is no achievement but a total failure in governance
Leadership that the people cannot die to defend
With these in mind, why should Jonathan fail? He started politicking on a proposed constitutional amendment to restrict the Presidential and gubernatorial tenure to a single six-year term.
What nonsense?
Imagine a leader that is yet to address the issues on his table and has not completed one year and is already enveloped by Power and deceiving himself that he cannot achieve major leap in 4 years
The Boko Haram were busy destroying in less than a year without relenting, the presidency spent the long months till now appointing Ministers and dolling out portfolio
We still do not have good roads, No jobs, no water, no Electricity, no schools, minimum wage unsettled, maximum poverty steering us in the face,
Yet , he is planning a trip like his predecessor who wanted third term and the other who annulled an election until he was forced out of government, the enemies of the state know when you are distracted by unnessesary agenda.
The Bombing of UN Building, though cannot be directly blamed on an individual, it is also because the youth who are championing the cause of the Islamic Boko Haram, were left by our government unattended .
Please pray for Nigeria.......
