Nigeria’s Paradoxical 51st Independence

Nigeria celebrates the 51^st Independence Day amidst contradictions, last years the 50^th anniversary was marked with a tragic unexpected blast, the long tradition of October 1^st when Nigeria gained her independence from the British colony  has become a national culture and a special festival where reflexes of the success and failure of a nation is examined through microscopic intelligent mind,

This however has been a cynosure of regrets for the failure of past visionless leaders took advantage of the nation’s unchecked power to the detriments and continuous poverty and shame of the people

The present President Goodluck Jonathan like his predecessors has made fantastic verbal commitment to transform the unfortunate fortunes of Nigeria.

The trust of the masses on promises is low, as an enduring Nation. Nigeria celebrates hopeful of  change which is long overdue
