Tonto Dike confirms initiation by Tattoo.
The wired Nollywood “strange case” actress Tonto Dike is willing to show the world all her latest adventure,
even if it means throwing decorum in the wind
Her recent unrestraint public show is mounting without moral caution
She was caught in camera revealing her Tattoo for the fancy of whatever is left of lost innocence
Morally cautious ward, keep an eye on your kids, especially the copycats
Check the DNA of your kids, Switched at birth, then meeting aged 12
"Two Russian families are united by a terrible event more than a decade ago. Their newborn daughters were accidentally mixed up in the maternity hospital and grew up with the "wrong" parents.
In a tiny flat in the Ural Mountains, Yulia Belyaeva and her 12-year-old daughter Irina are looking through family photos. One of the pictures shows Irina as a newborn baby swaddled in a blanket. It was taken the day mother and daughter left hospital. But 12 years on, Yulia Belyaeva has discovered that the baby she'd taken home - the daughter she'd thought she'd given birth to - is not her child.
"I found this out when my ex-husband refused to pay maintenance," says Yulia. "I took him to court to prove that he was Irina's father. We did all the DNA tests. But the results were a total surprise. Not only does my ex-husband have no biological link to Irina - neither do I."
Police believe that on 17 December 1998, there had been a terrible mix-up at the local maternity hospital. Two babies had been given the wrong name tags - and the wrong parents.
"At first I thought it was a joke," recalls Yulia. "Then I couldn't stop crying. My whole world had turned upside down. I kept worrying what Irina would say. And I kept thinking about my real daughter. Maybe she'd been abandoned. Put in an orphanage. Or perhaps she was begging on the streets."
Desperate to find her, Yulia went to the police and they launched a search for her biological daughter. Within weeks they had found her.
In a village half an hour's drive from Yulia Belyaeva's flat, lives 12-year-old Anya Iskanderova. In a meadow opposite her house, she shows me her favourite cow April. Anya is the girl Yulia had given birth to. She is the spitting image of her biological mother. In the house is Naimat Iskanderov - the man Anya thought was her father. Naimat is from Tajikistan. He had married a Russian woman, but they had divorced. It was Naimat who brought up Anya and his other children as devout Muslims. When police told him about the mistake at the maternity hospital and that Anya was not his daughter, to begin with he refused to believe it.
"Then the detective showed me a photo of the other girl, Irina, the one they said was my real daughter," Naimat tells me. "When I saw her face, it was like seeing myself. My arms and legs began shaking. It was awful to think that my child had grown up with another family. And that I had brought up someone else's daughter."
The two families meet regularly now. But the parents admit there is tension between them. " BBC

Gaddafi- He called us Rats, See where we found and killed him
Poem of a Rat
Chickenhearted braggart
Restless warlords of weaklings
Were he Hitler,
Would not have been caught
In the hole
‘Like a rat’ shaming all his followers
Why the rage? Chicken heart.
A mover of war
Now a prisoner deprived.
Shave carefully the dirty beards
Of religious dignity
And let all see the foolishness
Of fanatical fantasia.
Let him preside
Over fanatics in prison
Speak out valiant
Where are all the strategies of war?
All the broils of your pride
Caught among scattered armies
In the bin meant for rats
Shame!
His battle is over
Disciples fled,
No fool will risk his life
For a rat
In the hole.

Gaddafi’s Death goes Viral
"I would like to announce to our sons and daughters and to entire world the following news; the news of the end of tyranny and dictatorship in Libya that [will] never return again," Abdel Hafiz Ghoga, the vice chairman of the National Transitional Council (NTC), told reporters in Benghazi on Thursday evening.
"Our revolutionaries managed to get the head of the tyrant, who has met his fate and destiny like all dictators and tyrants."
Ghoga's announcement had been preceded by uncertainty. As NTC fighters in Sirte and officials in Tripoli began to tell reporters the news of Gaddafi's capture, then of his death, memories of previous false rumours arose.
Most recently, the NTC falsely claimed that Muatassim Gaddafi, one of the leader's sons and his former national security advisor, had been arrested in Sirte.
"I was very, very happy. My daughter and wife, they preferred that they capture him and bring him to justice, but I prefer him to be killed and end this chapter of his regime in this country," Fenadi said. "Now it will take just a few weeks and Gaddafi will be in the past."

“I AM NOT A FIGHTER” The most Un-Presidential statements ever
"WHY TAKE THE POST OF (FIGHTERS) GOLIATH, DAVID OR KINGS OF BABYLON, WHEN YOU ARE WEAK,"
“Some others will want the President to operate like an army general or my Chief of Army Staff commanding his troop. Incidentally, I am not a lion, I am not also a general.
“Somebody will want the president to operate like the Kings of Syria, Babylon, Egypt, the pharaoh, all the powerful people that you read about in the Bible. They want the president to operate that way, the characters of the Goliath, unfortunately I am not one of those."
Good Luck Jonathan. President of The Federal republic of Nigeria
"Fighters will capitalize on this to steal us blind, as our Captain stand to watch a drama."
"It is no sign of Humility in a Leader"
"life is a war, Fight, lead or leave, the most humble Christian must need fight to conquer. "

Bomb Blast in Gombe, Solders Killed
"The Gombe State Commissioner of Police, Mr Orubebe Ebikeme, has confirmed the bombing of the Mobile Police base in Kwame, in Kwame Local Government Area, yesterday, killing no fewer than three persons. According to News Agency of Nigeria reports, the attackers went to the base around 2.20 a.m. yesterday, and bombed the base which is about five kilometres from Gombe, the state capital .
The assailants carted away some arms and ammunition during the raid.
The administrative block of the base was set on fire while many cars parked on the premises were burnt.
Two corpses were lying outside the perforated wall as the area was condoned off while armed mobile policemen searched inside and outside the premises.
Ebikeme said he had invited officers and men of the bomb disposal unit from Yola, Adamawa State, to investigate the incident and promised to give details of the incident after.
The commissioner said the base was cordoned off because “there are still unexploded bombs around the area.”
Meanwhile, a member of the Special Task Force (STF), maintaining security in Plateau State was, weekend, murdered in the Ali Kazaure area of Jos, by unknown persons who went away with his rifle.
STF’s spokesman, Captain Charles Ekeocha, said in a statement, yesterday, that the soldier identified as Sergeant Baba Wuya, was macheted to death in Lasisi Street in the Ali Kazaure area while on his way to check a colleague on the same guard post.
Ekeocha said: “The soldier was murdered in cold blood ostensibly by the same people he was trying to protect.
”His murder borders on criminality and that is why his rifle, which is the target of the attackers, was taken away. The weapon will turn out to be used to perpetrate crimes on innocent citizens of Jos and its environs.”
He warned that the task force will deal with those bent on truncating the peace in the state and urged residents to furnish security agents with information on the murder of the soldier." Vanguard

Baba Suwe NO SHIT YET. to undergo scan
"Popular Yoruba comedian Babatunde Omidina, aka Baba Suwe, is to undergo CT scan to determine if he carried drugs when he was arrested last week, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said yesterday.
NDLEA spokesman Mitchell Ofoyeju said Baba Suwewould be released if the scan reveals nothing.
Omidina was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos last Thursday after allegedly testing positive to drug ingestion.
Ofoyeju said: “We should be able to ascertain things before the week runs out.
“We are contemplating a CT scan as it is more detailed. It can only be done in a hospital.
“Usually, we only use CT scan when a suspect says he is not sure of the exact number of the wraps he ingested.
“CT scan is about N100, 000 per subject. We are exploring other options.”
CT scanning—sometimes called CAT scanning—is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat cancer and cardiovascular disease.
It provides greater clarity and reveals more details than regular x-ray examinations.
CT scanning combines special x-ray equipment with sophisticated computers to produce multiple images or pictures of the inside of the body.
According to Ofoyeju, the public is jumping to conclusions while some are criticising the NDLEA because they do not understand how the agency works.
He said: “What is happening is that many members of the public do not really know how we work.
“In every 10 cases that the airport machine suspects, nine will be positive.
“The x-ray shows patches when there are wraps of cocaine; even if somebody eats akpu or eba, it does not show up as drugs.
“From experience, what we are doing is that we are just interdicting drugs.
“Some people will not excrete the drugs they ingested the first or second time; we have even had a case where somebody did three excretions in three days without excreting any drug.
“ It was on the fourth day that drugs started coming out and the guy had been insulting us .
“We told him that we placed him under observation only because the machine suspects him.
“All along, he had the substances in his system and if we had not been persistent, he would have gone.
“In every 15 persons that we place on observation, a minimum of 13 turn out to be positive.
“One thing I want people to understand is that this period is actually an investigative period; we do not go to press to announce that somebody had been arrested.
“However, in Baba Suwe’s case, because he is a celebrity, when people called, we could not deny and we told them he is in our custody but we are still investigating him and conclusions have not been made.” The Nation

Reps in rowdy session over Jonathan’s N98.4bn virement request
House representative of the federal republic of Nigeria believed that the constant request of the president has not brought any remarkable change, there was a rowdy session in the house yesterday over President Goodluck Jonathan intention to transfer the sum of N98.4billion from where it was allocated to another in the 2011 budget and a division amongst the lawmaker,
President Jonathan had proposed a bill to the House asking for the virement of N98.4billion in respect of nine ministries, agencies and departments in the 2011 budget last week.
Most members who contributed to the debate did not hide their displeasure at the failure of the Executive to provide enough information on the level of performances of the 2011 budget and were ready to kill the bill. House Leader, Mrs Mulikat Akande-Adeola, who opened debate on the general principles of the bill could not convince her colleagues on the desirability of the presidential request.

"i Will Never Get Married" - Tuface Idibia
"As we go through life,we all suffer betrayals.Even Jesus was betrayed by one of his disciples Judas Iscariot.I have been betrayed but I won’t want to comment about it.
It’s a path so painful that I don’t even want to go there.Just like betrayals,I have also suffered heartbreak on account of a woman.
Again,it’s better to let sleeping dogs lie.Let me just say that love is a strong force which can conquer anybody, even if you are Tuface. It happened to me long ago.
I have loved and have been loved. When it comes to love,I am as Innocent as my name Innocent Idibia.I have never come across a virgin all my life. The only person I have disvirgined is me.Myself.The fact that I have not come across a virgin does not mean there are no virgins. What I am saying is that I have never jammed a virgin. I don’t know what I will do the day I come across a virgin. Will I marry her?
The truth is marriage is not in my plans.I will never marry.Let me put it that bluntly. I don’t want to marry. I am angry.” NL

Gbenga Daniel's insinuations “I don’t Trust Prison food. I am on hunger strike”
"Mr. Justin Olugbenga Daniel, the former Governor of Ogun State who was taken into custody in Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) five days ago, has gone on hunger strike, his lawyers claimed.
A statement issued today by Yemi Oke, counsel to Mr. Daniel, said the former governor was being detained at the EFCC facility “under unbearable conditions” and subjected to “gruesome interrogations” by operatives of the commission.
“Under normal circumstances, Otunba Daniel should have been arraigned in court since he has spent more than the required period specified by law in detention,” the statement said. “But at the time of issuing this statement, he has not been arraigned in court and no charge has been preferred against him. Yet he is being detained and his fundamental human rights curtailed for no just cause. Only his wife is allowed access to him.”

Obasanjo vengeance on the Media, The Nation first victim of mercilessness
"Following the recent publication of a letter written to President Goodluck Jonathan by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in respect of some federal parastatals the Nigeria Police Force Headqurters requested the editor of THE NATION newspaper, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso to report at Abuja for interrogation with respect to the source of the publication of the said letter. As Mr. Omotoso had travelled out of the country on an official engagement we wrote to the policeto the effect that he would report upon his return to the country.
But this afternoon the police invaded the Abuja office of the newspaper and arrested two of its correspondents- Messrs Yussuf Ali and Yomi Odunuga.A similar operation was carried out in its Lagos office where the police quizzed Messrs Lawal Ogianegbon, John Austin Unachukwu, Adegbenjo Babajide and Dapo Olufade as well as Mrs Dupe Olaoye-Osinkolu. All efforts to secure the release of the detained journalists have proved abortive as they are being asked to disclose the source of the leakage of Chief Obasanjo's letter.
As the detained journalists are not prepared to disclose the source of the publication they are being accused of having forged the letter. Meanwhile Chief Obasanjo's specimen signature has not been obtained and taken to a forensic laboratory to establish the allegation of forgery in the circumstance. To that extent no reasonable suspicion has been established to warrant the arrests and detention of the journalists as required by section 35 of the Constitution of Nigeria.
Since forgery is a bailable offence under the law we demand for the immediate release of the detained journalists. In the alternative, they should be charged to court where our clients will prove beyond any shadow of doubt that the controversial letter was not forged." SR

Hon Patrick Obahiagbon On Fuel Subsidy Removal
I have read with acatalectic disgust, governments asinine and puerile ratiocinations attempting to justiceate the proposed removal of subsidies from petroleum products. It has asseverated that it’s intentions is guided by the need to checkmate the odoriferous excesses of a machiavellian and mephistophelean cabal and i have said to myself, what a shame? What a self indicting admittal of the failure of governance? What an hocus-pocus?
What an anathematous disdain for it’s citizenry? Must the people now bear the brunt for governments ineptitude, inefficiency and pusillanimity in squaring up with these economic philistines and fat cows? I feel even more nauseated and vexed that the Governors Forum has posthaste conferred an apocalyptic imprimatur on this genie.Let’s not forget that majority of these same Governors had earlier called for this state of affairs as a condition sinequanon for paying the minimum wage. What an opprobrium? What a deprecable descent from the sublime to the ridiculous? It’s up to us all to put this Presidential and Gubernatorial genie back into the bottle but are we prepared?

Cameroonians election, Two Police Killed near Bakkassi
Two military policemen were killed in the unstable southwestern Bakassi region of Cameroon while securing presidential elections there, the government has said.
They were killed on Sunday by "armed men who have not yet been identified" in Isanguele district, Marafa Hamidu Yaya, the interior minister, told reporters as votes were being counted across the country.
"These brave elements of our security forces were on a mission to secure the electoral process," the minister said. "All steps are being taken to find and apprehend their killers."
Several groups, often armed, operate in the coastal Bakassi peninsula, carrying out assaults and kidnappings the authorities blame on pirates.
About seven million Cameroonians were eligible to vote for a president on Sunday with incumbent Paul Biya almost assured of extending his 29-year rule amid signs of apathy in a ballot the opposition termed a "mess".
Earlier in the day, voters faced delays and organisational shortfalls in parts of the country.
Biya, 78, is viewed as keeping his place among the clutch of African leaders in power for decades. And rivals had alleged the vote was skewed against them.
There were no official turnout figures but voting appeared sluggish in the capital Yaounde.

Verona Pires of Cape Verde wins African prize for good governance
FORMER President of Cape Verde, Pedro Verona Pires, yesterday got $5 million prize for good African governance for turning his small island nation into a model of democracy, stability and prosperity.
The Mo Ibrahim prize committee said that during his 10 years in power, Pires helped lead the nation of 200,000 off West Africa’s coast out of poverty and won recognition for his human rights record.
The award was announced in London and broadcast across Africa, the Associated Press (AP) stated.
Last year and the year before, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation prize committee did not award a prize, saying no leader met the criteria for promoting development and democracy - and for handing over power peacefully.
In citing Pires, the committee that included Nobel peace laureate, Mohamed ElBaradei of Egypt and former Ibrahim prize winner, Festus Mogae of Botswana, said the Cape Verde leader at the end of his second term dismissed suggestions the constitution be changed to allow him to run again.
Pires was appointed independent Cape Verde’s first prime minister in 1975. He remained in the post for 16 years, then lost his country’s first democratic elections in 1991.
Pires was then elected in 2001 and again five years later.
“Cape Verde is now seen as an African success story, economically, socially and politically,” the prize citation said.
Meanwhile, Nigeria was scored 41 out of 100 for governance quality and is ranked 41st out of 53 countries. Also, the she scored lower than the regional average for West Africa which is 51. It scored lower than continental average which is 50. At sub-category level, Nigeria’s highest rank is in Rights and Education, which is 26th and lowest in Health 51st. The country is, however, ranked 13th out of 16 countries in West Africa. Over the past five years, Nigeria’s overall governance quality deteriorate between 2006 and 2010.

Police arrest kidnap suspects with rockets, dynamites in Lagos
"The police returned home with this haul: Two kidnap suspects, rockets and dynamites.
The suspects and their weapons of operation were paraded before reporters by the Lagos State police boss, Mr. Yakubu Alkali, yesterday .
The special operation was triggered by information provided by some residents about the operation of the kidnap syndicate.
Upon receipt of the information, Alkali confidentially engaged the Commander of Mobile Police Squadron 2, Mr. Patrick Ejedawe who mobilized his men and went for the kidnappers inside the bush at Ipaja, Lagos where they arrested the kidnappers and freed their captives. One of the victims, Mr. Godwin Eneh, a 66-year- old surgeon, who narrated his ordeal to reporters, noted that his hands and legs were tied for several days while his captors demanded several millions of naira as ransom for his freedom. “I am a surgeon and an industrialist. These men at Ajao Estate kidnapped me at gunpoint last week Thursday. They came to me well armed and pointed their gun at me. They started beating me up with their guns. At first, they said they were from the EFCC, (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission). Later they said my partner paid them N50 million to kill me and therefore demanded N150 million from me as ransom. But to God be the glory, yesterday, between 6.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m., policemen came to rescue us. Our being rescued was a miracle because the policemen were very few and they still were able to perform,” he said.
Another victim, a manufacturer of foams and plastic products told reporters that he was kidnapped at Ajangbadi, a suburb of Lagos also at gunpoint.
Alkali noted that his men were able to burst the crime based on information provided by patriotic Nigerians."

Dimeji Bankole Buying government house with government money
Dimeji Bankole, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, having been allowed to “buy” the palatial official residence of the Speaker, for a meager N45 million, wants to let the property to the current Speaker, for N40 million per annum.
Vanguard newspaper reported today that the current Speaker, Mr. Aminu Tambuwa, has not enjoyed the official residence since he assumed that position, apparently because Mr. Bankole would not let it go.
But strangely, it is Mr. Tambuwal himself who recently informed members of the House of the rental proposal.
On November November 30, 2010, President Goodluck Jonathan gave leave to the Senate President, the Deputy Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, to “purchase” their official quarters. Reporting that story, NEXT newspaper said that N1.5 billion had been made available in the 2011 budget for the construction of replacements for those properties. The largesse, which was denied at the time by presidential Special Adviser Ima Niboro, was thought to be Mr. Jonathan’s way of garnering wide-ranging support for his April 2010 presidential bid.
Jonathan’s November 2010 decision to allow the official occupiers of federal property to convert them to private ownership meant that the Senate President, Mr. David Mark, would be enjoying such largesse for the second time since he became a Senator in 1999. He was one of those Senators who benefitted from the sale of the Apo legislative residence quarters of Senators between 2003 and 2007.
As a member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Bankole had also benefitted from that sale, and it was in that Apo house he lived until he moved to the massive official residence of the Speaker last year.
It would also be recalled that in December 2009, the Federal Government awarded a contract for the construction of a N7.5 billion “permanent residence” for then Vice President, Goodluck Jonathan.

"Nigerian President GEJ unfit to Lead Nigeria" Junaid Mohammed
"President Umar Musa Yar’Adua is 10 million times” better than President Goodluck Jonathan. He said that Jonathan is not fit to govern Nigeria.
While insisting that Nigeria was overdue for a revolution, Mohammed said: “Am not sure Nigerians will be happy with what I have to say, but I will say it nonetheless. The way and manner this government cowardly refused to celebrate our independence anniversary is a massive and disgraceful climb-down. It is, in fact, a submission to evil and to darkness; it is also an admission by them that they are not fit to do the job. They are not fit to lead this country, because I remember that even at the height of the civil war, from 1967 to 1970, Nigeria never missed the opportunity of celebrating its own national anniversary, because it is like a birthday to us.
“Even if you don’t celebrate with funfare, you celebrate it with prayers. This is a disgraceful regime, a disgraceful presidency, a disgraceful government brought about by a disgraceful party. May God shorten their stay and may God shorten the agony of the people of Nigeria. I urge Nigerians to pray for deliverance from God and to allow this country to restore itself, restore its honour and occupy its own position in the comity of nations. That is all I can say.
