"Reputation is an idle and most false imposition, oft got without merit and lost without deserving. You have lost no reputation at all unless you repute yourself such a loser." When Shakespeare wrote the lines he sure had in mind the likes of John Fashanu who struggled as a single man today in London Court against the wishes of over 300 Million Nigerians waiting for the Prosecution often escaped by the Nigerian so called Rulers.
Former English premier league player, John Fashanu stands outside Southwark Crown Court after he appeared as a character witness on behalf ex Governor James Ibori, at his sentencing hearing today. The ex footballer claimed that the former governor had built stadiums that produced the likes of Jay Jay Okocha. His show came too late as James Ibori will spend the next 13 years at her Majesty's prison.
