A Ghanaian delivered a baby boy last week and the naming ceremony was yesterday. His name - John. when asked why John and not Kofi since he was born on Friday, the answer came quickly 'John is the victory name in Ghana, check our presidents'. It was then It dawned on me that Ghana has been ruled since 1979 by only those named John. From (Jerry) John Rawlings to John Kufuor to John Atta Mills and now John Mahama. There really must be something about John in Ghana.

they did so well and hope he Dramani will do well also, I think we need John on this side of Africa.
