But for the death of the Police inspector, it was meant to be a good day for the Police in Apapa area of Lagos where armed robbers had planed to steal from an unsuspecting customer PM news reported that A police Inspector and two suspected armed robbers were killed today when policemen from the Apapa Division of the Lagos State Police Command, southwest Nigeria, foiled a robbery attack on an old generation bank in Apapa.
Source gathered that the three died during an exchange of fire between the suspected robbers who attempted to snatch a huge sum of money withdrawn by a customer of the bank and the police. sources said that the police team killed two of the robbers and arrested two others.
The attack took place on Warehouse Road, Apapa.
