Obasanjo's special birthday slated for 18th & 19th of Januray

Olusegun Obasanjo

Despite the widespread acceptance of his cognitive deficiency especially with date of his birth, the friends of Olusegun Obasanjo have embarked on a date giving campaign to mark his Birthday ceremony

The ceremony planned for 18th and 19th at the Presidential library in Abeokuta, is to play host to several dignitaries including former President of Ghana John Kuffor who has been mandated to deliver a Public lecture themed “ Obasanjo in the eyes of hIstory”

The sponsor of the events includes and not limited to the Delta State governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Akwa Ibom governor, Godswill Akpabio, Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido,

The invitation card circulated for the events was signaled sent to the President Goodluck Jonathan, though his willingness to attend is yet to be communicated, there are clouds of doubts that the occasion might be a gathering of “Obasanjo’s loyalist” However the Vice President Namadi Sambo has indicated his interest to attend the occasion

The recent noised political wrangling and exchanges of Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan for his “poor performance” and nationally acclaimed failure as President in the past few years may have warranted a circle to reinvent images and give another opportunity for activities of better governance in the years ahead

Also the noised battered reputation of Obasanjo in the handling of the recent Ghana Election and the “abortion” announcement by the Economic Commission of West African States (ECOWAS)in his future role may also be parts of the “image reinvention” gathering of the occasion as he strive to begin an international foundation surpassing the reputation of former American President Bill Clinton

From here we wish Obasanjo a Happy Birthday
